Whitesmile Terms and Conditions of Use

Whitesmile is an Australian registered company. Our registered address is 23 Milton Parade, Malvern VIC 3144. Whitesmile's terms and conditions are outlined below. If you do not agree to any of the terms and conditions please do not purchase from this website.The terms and conditions maybe changed by Whitesmile without notice at any time. It is your responsibility to check the terms and conditions each time you visit the website. We do not share your personal information. We occasionally send out promotional e-mails to customers that have ordered from our site. If you do not wish to receive these promotional e-mails please notify us at info@whitesmile.com.au

Pricing & Availability Policy

Price and availability of products on the website are subject to change. If products are not available or prices have changed from the listed price on the internet Whitesmile will contact you immediately via e-mail and notify you of the change. Product packaging is also subject to change without notice. All prices listed on the website are exclusive of shipping charges. 

Payment Methods

Whitesmile credit card payments are made through a secure server. You will be required to fill in your shipping details and credit card details at checkout for the order to be processed. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, CHEQUE, MONEY ORDER and DIRECT BANK DEPOSIT (Electronic Funds Transfer). For Cheque and Money Order payments please fill in correct details at checkout and send Cheque / Money Order payable to:

We appreciate prompt payment. If Cheque or Money Order has not been received within 5 business working days a reminder e-mail will be sent for payment. Once personal cheques are banked and cleared you will be notified and the goods will be dispatched. This can take up to 5 business working days.

For Direct Bank Deposit - Once we receive your order our accounts department will e-mail you the Whitesmile direct deposit details and your reference number. 

Shipping & Handling Policy

Handling Times- Orders are processed and shipped as soon as possible. Most orders will be processed on the same day or the next business day. Orders are dispatched from our warehouse Mon- Saturdays. Any order received after Saturday Midday will be shipped the following Monday. 

Shipping - Prices are subject to change. As of October 2008 all items ordered within Australia are shipped via Australia Post Parcel Postage. Shipping within Australia is a flat rate of $7.50. Shipping time can vary and normally takes between 2-4 business working days. If you are in country areas shipping time can take up to 7 business working days. If you would like to register post your item, please e-mail us directly after you have placed your order- A Fee of $2.70 applies to register post items. For New Zealand shipping time takes between 3-7 business working days and all Other International orders shipping can take between 7-14 business working days. Orders are sent via air mail. Whitesmile is not responsible for any extra taxes or customs fees that you may apply to international orders.

Please make sure your shipping address is correct. Whitesmile takes no responsibility for lost goods or non received items due to incorrect address or insufficient address details that have been supplied. Returns Policy

Whitesmile only offers a return policy on faulty goods providing the item is returned in it's original box with all original instructional material and accessories. You will be responsible for return freight charges. We do not accept " I don't like it" or "it doesn't seem to work" returns. 

Faulty products include leaking bottles or toothpaste tubes, leaking whitening pens, whitening syringes that are leaking, damaged, dried up, missing tips or not functioning properly. Thermo forming guards that have been damaged in transit or unusable- to be returned unused. 

We offer a 14 day return exchange for all defective products. You must contact us at info@whitesmile.com.au as soon as you discover the goods are faulty and we will issue you a return number to send back with your item. You are responsible for the freight costs in returning your item. A new item will then be posted out or a full refund provided.

Information on the Whitesmile website is for educational purposes only. It may not be reproduced or copied without prior consent.

Whitesmile is not the manufacturer of the products sold on the website. We are a reseller. We do not guarantee or warranty products.

Whitesmile will not be liable for any side effects, changes or damage to teeth or gums or oral tissue during any treatment.

Whitening Product Disclaimer

Whitesmile does not guarantee tooth whitening results. Everyone's teeth whiten differently and at different speeds, a small percentage of some teeth just don't whiten at all.

It is important to know that whitening products only whiten enamel. Whitening products do not whiten caps, fillings, veneers, crowns or dentures. If you do have any of these on the front teeth you may need to have them replaced by your regular dentist after your whitening treatment is complete so they can match the colour to your newly whitened teeth. Replacements should be made at least 5-7 days after whitening is complete.

Whitening does regress (fade) over time, it all depends on your lifestyle. If you smoke, drink lots of red wine, tea, coffee or have lots of staining foods your whiteness will regress a lot quicker than normal. To keep your teeth bright and white all the time Whitesmile recommend using one of our maintenance products such as the Zoom! Whitening pens or Whitening Toothpastes or your trays and gels every three to six months for one or two applications to remove any stain which has built up on your teeth after you have whitened them.

If you currently have chalky teeth, white spots on your teeth or have fluorosis  the teeth affected will appear whiter initially and may fade over time,they can appear whiter or have no change at all.You will never be able to bleach these spots or lesions out. It is advisable to consult your dentist for whitening treatment if you have any of these conditions.

You are over the age of 16 years and have full dentition (no baby teeth left).

Do not use whitening products if you have sensitive teeth, periodontal disease, loose or decayed teeth, exposed roots or cracked teeth.

Do not use whitening products if your gums or teeth are NOT in a healthy condition.

Do not not use whitening products if you are pregnant or lactating.

Do not use any products if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If you are unsure please e-mail us at info@whitesmile.com.au and we can check the ingredient list for you.

You acknowledge that by purchasing whitening products online they are not being prescribed by a dentist and you have read our full terms and conditions, frequently asked questions pages and understand the possible side effects.

Do not use these products if your are diabetic, have a heart condition or if you are undergoing chemo / radiotherapy.

You will carefully read our directions for use and will follow instructions for use.

You understand that you will be moulding the custom thermo forming trays yourself in hot water. You are responsible for the fit of these trays. Whitesmile are not responsible for bad fitting trays. If your trays do not fit properly simply re mould them in hot water.

You will consult with your dentist if you experience any problems whilst using whitening products.

Whitesmile does not guarantee whitening results or guarantee against tooth sensitivity or any other possible side effects.
